| WE ARE CALLING YOU FOR A CAMPAIGN TO STOP ANY COMERCIAL HUNTING
OF ORCAS, AND OTHER DOLPHINS IN OUR COUNTRY, DOUBTFUL RESCUES AND FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THIS SPECIES, THE OCEAN. The Free Dolphin's Flag continues on gaining meters, with provinces and another countries joining to the effort: Up to this date, we've been informed that they are working on pieces of the flag in several cities, such as Mendoza, Cordoba, the Province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Santa Fe, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, with the other provinces of argentina joining in the future, having in mind that some of them have sent their works without any advice, as the previously mentioned did. We have received also the report of several persons having interest in this effort from another countries, such as: Brasil, USA, Canada, France, Singapur and Switzerland, taking part on it and promising spreading the information about the campaign.

FREE DOLPHINS Besides the cultural and scientific developments, some countries continue with the comercial killing of cetacea, their catching for further exhibition in captivity of orcas and another dolphins and the daily and permanent pollution of their habitats, the oceans. Argentina also takes part in some of those activities, such as the pollution of their waters, the voting of national laws which the provinces doesn't agree with , such as the law that declares a "natural monument" the Southern Right Whale and the law that bans the catching of orcas in the national waters of Argentina, protecting by this means the species just only in the national part of the argentine sea, remaining unprotected where the provinces with coasts rules, that is in other words, where almost all the activities of those animals take place, where they are studied and where also the very doubtful rescues takes place as well, ending generally with the "rescued" animal taking part of a shows in an aquarium or in an oceanarium, easying the comercial continuity of those firms, as well as the planning of another projects of the same nature, which it will guide to new catchings, followed by the humanization, decay and death of the animals, because they are selected among the most beautiful species, from which the actual figures of their populations ar unknown, becoming vulnerable for this reason. Among the most pursued species, orcas and another dolphins are the most worthable comercially and without any doubt they are the species that more economical profits gives to their catchers, buyers and exhibitors. You only need to see that most of the aquaria and oceanaria around the world shows the draw of an orca or a dolphins as their comercial logos.
