Founder member and President of the Fundación Orca Patagonia-Antártida General Coordinator and Trainer of the Stranded Cetaceans' Rescueing Department from the above mentioned Foundation. He is currently dictating courses for the Prefectura Naval Argentina's personnel, Argentine Navy, Argentine Army, National Gendarmerie (Customs Police), Police Corps, Firefighter groups, Lifesaver groups, The Red Cross, sportive and proffesional divers, among others. Director of the Orca Project, the first long term study of orcas in Argentina, which began in 1975 and continues up to the present time as the Fundación Orca (Orca Foundation). Creator of La Semana de las Orcas, (Orca's Week) a bi-annual event declared of interest by the National Congress. Research Director for the Expedición Proyecto Orca Antártida 1990-91, (Expedition Orca Antartica Project, 1990-91), First argentine expedition that studied orcas in the white continent. Member of the New York's Explorer's Club, Argentine Chapter's Directive Comitee. Very well known organization of international surveys and explorations. He was a naturekeeper of the Province of Chubut, in duty for 13 years at the Reserva de fauna Punta Norte (North Point Fauna's Reserve), in Península Valdés. He is an honorary Naturekeeper for the same province. He was a professional SCUBA diver since 1973 to 1999. He is still in activity at a sportive level. He was the Activities' Coordinator for diving in the enterprises Turismo Submarino, Cressi Sub and Golfo Azul. Up to date he worked as an advisor and diver with more than 20 international film crews for nature shows and documentals, some of them are: Jacques Yves Cousteau, Stan Waterman, BBC Natural History, TV Francia, TV Japan, TV Spain, Survival Anglia, Patridg Films, ABC Australia, Canal USA Nework, Walt Disney Productions, National Geographic, La Aventura del Hombre (Argentina). -He is one of the four men around the world who dived with wild orcas when they where hunting sea lions in order to verify if they would attack humans or not. -His experiencies with orcas were published in different printed media and recently on his book “ORCAS entre el mito y la realidad” (Orcas, between Myth and Reality), printed by Editorial Sudamericana on its new colection RUMBO SUR. Currently he is working on his second book about orcas. -He gives conferences, courses and workshops at different parts of the country and in another countries and writes for popularization printed media about issues related with cetaceans. -He was declared Distiguished Citizen by Puerto Madryn City's Major, the place where he lives.
