MIGUEL ANGEL IÑÍGUEZ BESSEGA

| President and founder member of Fundación Cethus. Asociated researcher for the Municipality of Puerto San Julián since 1998. He studies cetaceans since 1984 and he is specialized in dolphins, orcas and toninas overas (commerson's dolphin). He's a naturalist from the Argentine School of Naturalists of the El Plata's Ornithological Society. He has a master on Enviromental Education (Spain). Author of two books: "Orcas de la Patagonia Argentina" (1993) and "Toninas overas, los delfines del fin del mundo" (1996). He have given courses and lectures at the Balaena Society - Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, University of Murcia, Spain; National University of Costa Rica, Costa Rica; University of Buenos Aires, Argentina; National University of Southern Patagonia, Argentina. Consultor for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society of the United Kingdom since 1991. Scientific advicer for the argentine delegation on the International Whaling Commision's Meeting in 2002 at Shimonoseki, Japan. | ||
